Gimli Water Treatment Plant

Performing as the General Contractor, we supplied and installed a sludge dewatering centrifuge and conveyor within the existing Gimli Wastewater Treatment Plant.

SCOPE OF WORK
  • Concrete Base Supports and Masonry Wall Modification to support both the centrifuge and conveyor
  • Process piping, which included sludge, flushing water, and air piping
  • Electrical, which included new distribution and panels for centrifuge, conveyor, and polymer pump skid
  • Instrumentation
  • PLC Controls, which included integration into existing BMS system and updating existing centrifuge to work in a lead/lag operation
  • Polymer Testing
  • Refurbishment of existing centrifuge, which included gear replacement and control software update
  • New Effluent Sampling System
