Headingley Water Treatment Plant

The Headingley Water Treatment Plant is the second largest water treatment facility in Manitoba, servicing Headingley Correctional Centre, R.M. of Headingley, and Centreport Development. Headingley Water Treatment Plant is a potable water facility; Water is drawn from the river to settling ponds then to the Treatment Plant. The treatment process includes enhanced coagulation, ultra filtration, reverse osmosis filtration, calcite contactors for finished water hardness, and chlorine disinfection.

Wescan installed electrical power, backup power, communication services, and PLC controls for the facility.
