Manitoba Personal Care Home Visitation Pods

Electrical design build services for the construction and field installation of 105 shipping containers, 8’ wide by 40’ long, converted into visitation pods for personal care homes across the province of Manitoba during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The unique challenge of this project was the extremely aggressive schedule. During fabrication, 4 pods per day were completed and shipped to 88 separate locations across Manitoba. Varied custom power requirements were needed to ‘link’ the corridors with electrical, lighting and HVAC to connect the visitation pods to the PCH.
