True North Square was a unique project comprising of two towers. The first tower, 242 Hargrave, is 365,000 square feet of Class A Office Space spread out over 17 stories; The second tower, 225 Carlton, is comprised of 200,000 square feet of commercial and residential space spread out over 25 floors. These two towers also share a common public realm area that is built upon two levels of underground parkade.
For the first phase of this project, Wescan worked closely with AME Group and PCL to develop cost savings for the owner while still maintaining a high level of standards. In addition, our team focused on the mechanical operation systems that provide service to both towers in order to achieve LEED Gold certification. This was all achieved within a construction schedule of under 2 years, from the design to the substantial completion of 242 Hargrave.
